WRITING

AMD/ATI
WHITE PAPER

From time to time I am asked to create technically based Case Studies and White Papers.

Here is one such white  paper I wrote for SentryMetrics in support of their work with AMD/ATI. I also designed and formatted the layout.

TECHNICAL
ARTICLES

I've never had as much fun writing as I did for 3 years for an organization called

LANDA
  Local Area Network Dealers Association
(sadly now defunct)

But, here are a few of my articles selected from the HTML online edition of their GateWay magazine. (PDF's of the printed versions are available on request.)

Fair Warning:
Offbeat humour in a technical environment
can be contagious!

eLEARNING & INSTRUCTIONAL

CRS SOFTWARE
TRAINING DEMO

This customer experience management company's main product was a proprietary database which scientifically collected detailed customer information for the client subscribers.

Clients accessed their customized Customer Report Site (CRS) data via a browser-based front end application.

Depending on login credentials the amount of information seen was either a restricted localized view or a full overview.

This late beta version of the introductory training demo was developed to be accessible via the company's web site. Many options needed to be presented but not all selections have been completed in this version.

TIME
MANAGEMENT

Here's a simple little FLASH presentation I made for the same  customer experience management company. This was designed to be "quick 'n dirty", for internal use, and taken with a minimum amount of effort and fuss.

An optional quiz is included for those who enjoy self humiliation, and it does utilize some 'gee whiz' features.*

JUST-IN-TIME
TRAINING
Conceptual
Presentation

This is a late draft (unfinished) of a presentation of a JIT Training concept which would have augmented the more traditional training approaches currently in use for this company. The idea was to automatically tie in service performance parameters to specific training modules and improve efficiency in the retail sector.

The original was designed in PowerPoint then converted to FLASH.*

* I don't subscribe to the spinning, skipping, zooming school of Flash design. No sir.

So, this is pretty straight forward informational stuff. Nothing too much to distract from the message, which after all is the important thing.
